A principios de siglo, el Ministerio de Marina regulaba el espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico y fue quien otorg\u00f3 la primer licencia de\u00a0radioaficionado\u00a0a Teodoro Belloq (15 de Octubre de 1913). \u00c9ste instal\u00f3 una estaci\u00f3n radio telegr\u00e1fica en Av. Callao al\u00a01600, y otra en una quinta en San Isidro. Los radioaficionados eran un grupo chico y conocido por hacer cosas raras, algo as\u00ed como los alquimistas del 1900: Arl\u00eda, Archevala, los hermanos Evers. Seeber, Ar\u00e9valo, Guerrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El 21 de octubre de 1921 se reun\u00eda un calificado grupo de radioaficionados, que en asamblea realizada en el sal\u00f3n de actos del diario \u201cLa Prensa\u201d, funda el Radio Club Argentino El Radio Club Argentino pasaba a ser hist\u00f3ricamente el tercer radio club del mundo, luego de Inglaterra (Real Society Great Britain) y de Estados Unidos (American Radio Relay League).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El \u201cD\u00eda del Radioaficionado Argentino\u201d fue instituido por la Tercera Convenci\u00f3n Argentina de Radio aficionados, celebrada en la ciudad de Mar del Plata del 4 al 14 de noviembre de 1950.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dem\u00e1s est\u00e1 decir, la cantidad de veces que los radioaficionados intervienen con sus estaciones y equipos, donde convocados o no, prestan su servicio en situaciones de emergencias, cat\u00e1strofes, u otras necesidades donde las comunicaciones tradicionales cesan o no se cuenta con ellas. Destacamos entonces con esto, que la actividad no es simplemente un hobby, sino un Servicio, en el que el radioaficionado pone a disposici\u00f3n sus equipos y conocimientos, para ser utilizados para la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
